Chicks are here!!! Chick Season 2026 has officially here at Nickalo Farm! This year we are partnering with our friends at NICHOLS FARM in York to provide even more chicks this year. This means we will have pickups in York and Rock Hill.

**Sex Linked are two chickens bred to each other that result in offspring of each sex having different feather characteristcs to identify their gender at hatch. Autosexing are breeds that hatch with hens and roosters looking completely different. Vent sexing is where the chicks are evaluated within 48 hours of hatching and examined to determine gender. 

**Chicks are vent sexed which is known to have 90% accuracy, Sex Linked or Auto Sexing breeds are the ONLY guaranteed pullet/roosters. 

**You can reserve for coop ready chicks +$5 per chick and can be picked up at 6 weeks old when they are fully feathered and off heat, this may take a few more weeks for bantam breeds like silkies. Must pay in full to reserve. 

We are not responsible for animals after they leave our care. They will leave us happy and healthy, no refunds or exchanges.
